Long Island Cares
Our Long Island Branch reaches out to the community
Every year, our Long Island, NY branch likes to get involved in various projects outside of the office in order to give back to the community. One of these projects is their annual food drive to stock food pantries, soup kitchens and homeless shelters in the area. This year they collected a 100 lb barrel with food and personal care items—twice as much as they collected last year—to be donated through Long Island Cares, Inc.
The branch also completed the annual LIVE (Long Island Volunteer Enterprise) community volunteer event. Their participation for the event included painting a storage shed for farm equipment for the Theodore Roosevelt Bird Sanctuary, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of and education about wildlife and birds in Oyster Bay, New York.
