The LA office gets SPAMmed
In Los Angeles, our Hodes office shares a building with several other Omnicom companies, including U.S. Marketing & Promotions (USM&P). Earlier this year, USM&P sent out a SPAM e-mail to all the building occupants. Luckily, this was the good kind of SPAM--an e-mail letting everyone know the SPAMmobile, one of USM&P’s marketing creations, would be stopping by the office. Everyone was welcome to sample its culinary delights, featuring SPAM, the classic American luncheon meat.
Some curious LA workers decided to go see what all the fuss was about. When they arrived downstairs, people were already lining up to get their free sample of the SPAMBURGER® hamburger, courtesy of USM&P. This SPAMmobile is one of three in the nation and serves approximately 500,000 burgers a year.
