Volunteering for a great cause
On July, 11, 2005, our Long Island office participated in the annual Long Island Volunteer Enterprise (LIVE). This inspiring event brings together community organizations and corporate volunteer teams to work towards the betterment of the community.
This year, the project was to transform a vacant lot into a beautiful meditation garden for Rainbow Chimes, a not-for-profit early childhood education and care center. The serene space would function as a calming area for the children. At the end of a long, 94-degree day, the garden was finished, and contained a memory tree, sandbox, garden, fountain and gazing ball.
