BIO
As Vice President and National Director of Diversity Services, Bernard Hodes Group, Ms. Cummings consults with clients nationally on diversity branding and communications to help recruit and retain a diverse workforce. She has over 25 years of experience in marketing and communications. During her advertising and public relations career, clients have included General Motors, Ohio State University Athletics, the Wexner Center for the arts, Ford Motor Co. and the U.S. Army Recruiting Command.
Ms. Cummings has completed Diversity Practitioner training at the American Institute for Managing Diversity and the National Multicultural Institute. Diversity clients include Bank of America, American Express, University of Pennsylvania Health System, Best Buy, Duke Realty, Dominion, McGraw-Hill, Corning and Heineken USA and the National Cancer Institute. Ms. Cummings was a contributing author to the “The Census 2000 Toolkit,” Society for Human Resource Management. She also authored "Diversity and Change Management" for Black Enterprise and was featured in their Rising Stars section. She is also a contributing author to “On Staffing” by Staffing.org, published by Wiley & Sons. She is a member of the National Black MBA Association, the International Visitors Council, the Public Relations Society of America and the Society of Human Resource Management. She has served on the Design Grants and Policy Panel of the National Endowment for the Arts and on the board of directors of the Diversity Leadership Forum.
