The Work We Do

At Hodes, our main focus is helping HR and recruiting professionals find the talent they need and keep the talent they already have. To do this, we juggle a variety of functions, acting as an advertising agency, a staffing firm, a consultancy company and technology outfit, all at once.

On the recruitment side, we help companies sell product--only it's jobs rather than cars or cereal. That means we're actively involved in employer brands, branding that develops relationships with potential candidates and gets our clients on their shopping lists. To do so, we employ strategists, account people and creatives--all the positions you'd find in a typical ad agency.

But here's where we differ: on the process side, we offer services and ideas to help HR departments run more efficiently and improve the way they recruit talent. This could involve software to make it easier to post jobs and collect and search resumes, consulting to optimize recruitment process, or analyzing metrics.
