To assess the state of employer branding across the globe, Hodes solicited hundreds of opinions from those who champion it the most—HR professionals. And now we're publishing the results in this informative two-phase research study.
Over 480 HR leaders were surveyed in 25 countries about employer branding. Using both quantitative and qualitative methods, we explored HR proffess-ionals' connections to employer branding, methods and perceptions of it, and its primary characteristics both inside and outside of the workplace.
The results revealed a number of key facts about the state of employer branding, including a widespread need for metrics to measure its effects on employee communications. The report also offers suggestions on approaching the employer branding process.
From the survey:
"...the biggest challenge we faced during our brand development initiative was getting all the right people on the same page."
- Libby Sartain, SVP HR/Chief People officer, Yahoo! U.S.
"The brand has to flow through the organization, and all employees are part of the brand."
- Peter Hemmingsen, HR Manager, Ericsson, Denmark
"I am a strong proponent of employer branding. It is the basic fundamental of any recruitment strategy."
- Lucy Chang, Talent Acquisition Sr. Manager - Asia Pacific, Sun Microsystems, Hong Kong
