THE BRIEF
Infineon Technologies A G (previously Siemens Semiconductors) is based in Munich, Germany and is one of the top six semiconductor companies in the world. In India, Infineon is based in Bangalore, where it has development centers for its Secure Mobile Solutions and IT Infrastructure divisions. Recruitment advertising was a challenge because they did not have any experience with product or corporate advertising in India, the company works on niche technologies and the professionals working in these domains are not easy to reach, and their corporate communication style manual limited creative freedom for a detailed writing of job specifications.
THE SOLUTION
TMI Network focused on simple, intense and powerful ads that communicated Infineon’s leadership and innovation in their specialized fields (comprised of embedded systems, mobile solutions, system solutions and electronics design). The ads also conveyed the challenge of working on cutting edge, niche technologies with a growing and outstanding employer. The key message was that Infineon offered the opportunity to create Semiconductor Solutions for the 21st Century technology oriented individual. We then selected eye-catching visuals that adhered to the established standards and created a unique identity for the client. As the ads evolved, they became more vibrant and contained more welcoming messages.
